A tradition that began at the Annual Banquet in 1987, is the selection of
The Sportsman of The Year. A plaque is presented each year to be passed on from
sportsman to sportsman. It is the responsibility of each recipient at the end
of the following year to in turn select the individual(s) who has fostered Good
Sportsmanship throughout the year, and present the traveling plaque with the
new Sportsman's name(s) added to the ranks of those who previously received the
award.
