The MacGregor Listserv is an information exchange consisting of an Internet eMail list of members who own or have interest in Venture and MacGregor trailerable sailboats. The list is a primary source for getting questions answered and exchanging tips and stories about these boats.

The list was formed and originally maintained by Paul Osborne in Rochester, NY, who in early January, 1995, was talking with a few V/M owners from Canada and started this information mail list. By word of mouth, it grew to over 400 members across the USA and Canada in a little more than one year, and currently has over 500 members throughout the world. In February, 1998, the list was turned over to Sailnet.com who now maintains the list with an automated system for those joining or leaving the list.

The members on this list have been quite prolific in exchanging ideas on improvements. This is especially true during the off-season in preparation for the sailing season. (Editorial comment: Our Northernmost and Canadian members seem to have the most to share in winter months while those of us in the South enjoy year-around sailing! ;-) )
