Latif Bajwa, Dipl.Ac., L.Ac.



 
 

Dr. Bajwa earned his Doctor of Oriental Medicine for Complementary Medicines. He has a Ph.D. in Acupuncture, is professor at Medicina Alternative Institute and Affiliate of Open International University for Complementary Medicine. He is a professor at Capital University of Integrative Medicine, Washington, D.C. Dr. Bajwa is also a graduate of The American Academy of Preventive Medicine, Denville, NJ. and Chairman of the International Institute of Complementary Medicine, Princeton, NJ. He completed his fellowship at TCM College at Harbin Clinics in Sri Lanka, India and Japan. Dr. Bajwa is a visiting professor, researcher, and scholar at several hospitals in China and Sri Lanka. He is a graduate of a three year course and intensive clinics in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in Connecticut and New York. He was Director of Acupuncture and Herbs Center in New York City. 

In addition he has studied Japanese, Korean and French Energetics and modern medical techniques, such as moxibustion, cupping, magnetics and electro-therapy. He participated in post-graduate research and has done studies in ecological psychosomatic balancing protocols. Dr. Bajwa also does physical medicine therapies including cranio-sacral work, visceral manipulation, lymph drainage, So-Tai, Shiatsu, Amma Chinese Massage and more.

Dr. Bajwa is a Diplomat of Acupuncture, a certified Herbalist, a member of the National Council for Certification of Acupuncturists and A Fellow of the American Society of Acupuncturists.
