Often an Elder Care Conference will be used to determine a plan of action. Jeanne Robinson will meet with as many family members and outside advisors (accountants, attorneys, clergy, and others) as desired by the elders. During the conference an assessment of the elders' capabilities and resources will be balanced by their preferences for their future living arrangements in the development of a plan.
To be effective, any plan must be based in reality. To achieve this a review of health needs, finances, numbers of family members and other resources will be considered. As changes in health, finances, or other parts of the plan occur, Jeanne can consult with this family again to make necessary adjustments. Family members may return as a group, if a conference is required in the future.
Conferences may be held in Jeanne's San Francisco office or another location preferred by the family group, including the elder's home. Evening and weekend appointments are available for the convenience of all family members who should be included.
