Bible record of Jason C. Ballew, born 1852, son of John C. and Mary Ann Ballew.  John C. was born in 1824 and died in 1861; after his death, Mary Ann married a man by the name of Thompson.  John C. was the son of David Ballew and Easter Ballew who were married 2 May 1817 in Burke Co. NC.  Robert Ballew was bondsman.  I do not know if David was the son of Robert, or if Easter was his daughter.
