Louise Tucker Jones - Joy in the Journey

  • Louise Tucker Jones is co-author of the book "Extraordinary Kids" and a well known speaker.  Louise will share her personal testimony of God's love and grace when facing some of life's greatest difficulties.  Her message will inspire you as she relates the joys and challenges of parenting a child with Down syndrome.

    • Dr. David Domek did his pediatric residency at the University of Oklahoma followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Genetics.  He is currently Chief of Pediatric Endocrinology at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.  He and his wife, Sharon, have been actively involved in establishing the new Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma.

    • Dr. Adolfo Garnica has served as Chief Genetics, Endocrinology and Metabolism for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma.  He has also served as Chief of Geneticsfor the Department of Pediatrics at Georgetown University.  He currently has a pediatric practice at the Muskogee Children's Clinic.
    Kent MacLeod - Mr. MacLeod received his degree in pharmocology from the University of Toronto, Canada.  He has collaborated on serveral research projects relating to Down syndrome.  He is currently President/Owner of Nutri-Chem, a pharmacy and compounding laboratory in Ottawa, Ontario.

                            implications of gene therapy.

                     Provided by Asbury United Methodist Church.  Spaghetti, homemade rolls
