Pure Colors - This is an ongoing project to separate all the color gene into pure lines.  As I’ve stated elsewhere this is important for testing and identifying new mutations.

Hybridity Quotient - This is my most ambitious project.  I’m working on a DNA test that will determine the hybridity of a Russian dwarf. My thought is that we probably have fewer non-hybrid hamsters in captivity than we all think. I’m not trying to ruffle feathers here.. I’ve just heard a lot of accusations against some breeders and I’m finding it increasingly difficult to spot hybrids myself.

Table Curbs - This is a simple project to come up with an effective escape guard for my hamstery.  Occasionally they escape their cages and in order to facilitate their safe and timely recapture I want to make a large guard to skirt my cages..

Litter Size Comparisons - I’m taking my collected data and trying to find a link between temperature, humidity and litter size and sex.
